The Trauma-Informed Counseling Center also known as "TICC" specializes in serving men, women, children, and families that present with an array of mental health needs. Clinicans use Evidence-based treatment practices that are proven to address trauma symptomatology and PTSD symptomatology. So, every clinician at TICC is formally trained in one or many of the following therapies: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and many more.
The Trauma-Informed Counseling Center also known as TICC is a clinically diverse, trauma-informed, evidence-based outpatient clinic designed to meet clients where they are in their time of need and provide meaningful yet personalized therapy practices that are designed to help a client process, manage, and possibly find meaning given the life experiences they have overcome. At TICC, the motto is "Counseling Comes First". The goal at TICC is to always strive to offer and ensure clients receive quality counseling services.
TICC provides in school therapy services to varying schools within Fayette County that have been referred to TICC for in-school services due to their behavior and/or mental health needs. That said, TICC conducts full safety assessments on all clients at the intake. This assessment includes the clinical licensed provider completing an array of standardized assessments to assess for possible risks for the client in the home, community, and school setting.
